Twanging the Silver Loops
I trotted into the kitchen on my quiet green shoes and hopped up onto the butcher-block counter, curious to see what was waiting in the morning light. Right beside a big ceramic mixing bowl lay a long stainless steel whisk! Could those rounded wire arches work like a standing harp? I leaned forward and tugged one shiny wire with both paws, letting it snap back with a bouncy thrum! The gentle vibration tickled my whiskers. When my foot slipped and set three wires rattling at once, I turned the sudden clang into a quick tap-dance, humming right along with the bright metallic buzz.
