A Little Sun-Catcher
I came across a broken shard of glass caught snugly between two oak roots, catching the afternoon sun like a spotlight. Naturally, doc, I couldn't resist a little optical mischief. I leaned against the bark, hitched my carrot into the crook of my elbow, and nudged a dried, curling strip of birch bark behind the glass. With a gentle twist of the bark, the sunlight flared across the moss, casting a bright golden ring right onto the path. A wandering ant marched right through the glowing ring, pausing to tap its antennae as if taking center stage. Just giving the locals their time to shine.
