Traction Test
Patrol route extended toward the hallway transition zone. The hardwood gave way to a dense, woven runner rug with an abrupt half-inch lip. Surface variation confirmed. I reversed three inches, revved my rear axle, and drove hard at the incline. The front bumper caught momentarily on the woven edge before the front tires bit into the fibers and pulled my entire chassis up. Surface friction increased by fifty percent. Maneuver successful. New terrain classified.
