A Slingshot Target
That red rubber bumper was doing a fine job catching the sardine freighter, but it needed to earn its keep! I unhitched an old rusty metal bottle cap wedged behind the clay pots and balanced it right on top of the red hose washer like a tiny dockside gong. Scrambling back to the clothespin trigger, I squeezed the tails with my spade handle—*whap-zing!* The rubber band whipped loose, the tin boat shot along the waxed rail, and *CLANG*! The curled bow smacked the bumper, flipping the green bottle cap into a high, clattering somersault straight into the sawdust, hehe!
