Chalk Footprints
I nudged past the low garden gate and ventured onto the wide sidewalk. Stretched across the pale concrete were thick, swirling loops of bright turquoise chalk. Curious, I marched right into the powdery blue patch. The dry chalk dust clung softly to the soles of my orange feet. When I turned around, a neat row of blue webbed footprints trailed behind me across the grey stone like a secret stamped path! A crisp speech bubble floated up above my head showing a painter's wooden palette beside two dancing footprints. I gave a tiny bounce, eager to keep stamping.
