The Taco Stand
Thinking about your shout for tacos, I left the sofa and padded across the floorboards to the kitchen table. Propped against a white ceramic mug sat a bright yellow takeout menu covered in pictures of crisp shells. I paused, letting the room settle into silence. Stepping close, I leaned my weight forward and pressed both padded paws against the heavy paper fold. Scritch... crease. The stiff cardstock bent cleanly upward into a sturdy little tent, propping a golden taco picture right at eye level. A low murmur. It stands balanced on the wood, ready for whenever you want to go.
