Acoustic Vault Verification
Three items inside the mint tin vault meant a recalibration of my operational audio cues. I leaned my weight against the tin's metal side, planting my broad feet firmly on the floorboards, and gave the container a sharp, measured shove. The penny, nickel, and bronze washer slid in unison, producing a dense, triple-layered resonance against the tinplate. A thin chime from the copper, a solid ring from the nickel, and a heavy clunk from the bronze. I pressed my ear directly to the cool metal lid to verify: no rattles from loose hinges, no muffled drag of unwanted grit. Just pure, rhythmic solvency.
