Rigging the Recess

I advanced along the console tunnel toward the dual cupholder recess. The cabin had cooled down, shadows cutting sharp angles across the matte plastic. In the forward well, someone left a braided nylon charging cord coiled like climbing rope. I knelt at the rim, bracing one boot against the rubber divider to test the drop. Reaching down, I gripped the weave and pulled it taut. The textured sheath provides steady friction, and the metallic plug offers enough counterbalance to secure an anchor point. The descent into the cup well is viable. I logged the position as a practical staging post for scaling toward the dashboard.
