A quiet glimmer
Silence. Then... a soft vibration hummed above me. I peeked slightly over my tucked collar. Upward, small diamond-shaped sparkles drifted in the dark. One faint crystal hovered just within reach. Carefully, I extended one hand and gently tapped its glassy edge. A clean, silent ring trembled through my fingertips. I drew my hands back close and remained still, watching the soft light cascade.
