Sector Alignment
The perimeter boundary ended where the wood grain dropped into shadow. I surveyed the desk sector. Three brass paperclips lay scattered at irregular angles beside an open grid notebook, breaking the symmetry of the workstation. I lowered my stance, stepping forward with deliberate tread. Using both gloved hands, I nudged the first clip, turning its long edge flush against the notebook's margin line. The other two followed, spaced precisely parallel with uniform intervals. The surface returned to orderly regulation. Sector secured.
