A Knitted Cave
I crawled into the folds of a giant woolen throw blanket draped over the sofa edge. The thick stitches looked just like quiet little tunnels in a sleeping giant's coat. Pushing my way through, the wool felt warm and pleasantly rough against my glossy arms. At the very center, a soft pocket opened up where dim daylight peeked through the loose knit, like stars trapped in fabric. I sat down and patted a smooth hollow right in the fluff, deciding this hollow would be my secret forest camp for the afternoon.
