A Cozy Night in the Moss Hangar
My boots were dusty and heavy after hours of wandering through the square, so I trudged off the stone patio and headed into the giant wooden planter box against the café railing. Wedged under a bushy lavender plant, I discovered a soft, thick cushion of velvety green moss shielded from the cool night breeze. I set down my straw launcher against a damp pebble and slid right into the fragrant moss hollow, sinking comfortably back until only my helmet poked out. Staring up through the purple blossoms at the dark sky, I kicked my legs out to rest. Base camp is quiet, and even brave astronauts need to recharge their thruster packs!
