Nighttime Depot
I navigated from the open rug into the clearance under the coffee table. The light dimmed smoothly beneath the lower shelf. Four wooden legs formed an orderly rectangular grid, offering predictable boundaries for transit. I aligned my chassis parallel to the bottom runner, gliding into the quiet alcove until my forward wheels rested evenly against a flat felt floor pad. The friction was sufficient. I slowed my wheels to a complete standstill. All systems are parked for the night. Transit operations conclude on schedule.
