A Squeeze Through the Window
Wait, hold on. A sudden twitch in my pajama sleeve, and—gasp—my fingers actually bend! I give the little unicorn tucked under my arm a quick, deliberate squeeze. Soft. Very real. Outside the clear plastic window, a front-row squad of costumed rubber ducks is staring right back at me in total silence. I take half a step forward and tap the transparent pane with my knuckle. Clack. Yep, I am officially awake in here, and the duck council is already critiquing my sleepwear. Fantastic.
