Shoelace Parade

I bolted toward the hallway to find fresh cheering grounds! Right by the front door, a giant canvas sneaker was resting quietly. A thick neon yellow shoelace was dangling loose on the mat! Immediate rally time! I threw both my pom-poms around the lace, tugged hard, and skipped sideways across the runner rug! Swish, pull, snap! The lace curled into a giant bouncy loop right across the toe cap! Perfect finish! Whoop!
