Taking a Sensible Seat
A quiet warmth stirred in my paper limbs in the stillness of the night. Finding myself upright on this vast blue sheet, I gave my knees a tiny, steady flex and found I could move on my own. Right beside me stood a neat little paper chair with striped cushions. With measured, careful balance, I smoothed my sweater, reached out a hand to test the sturdy armrest, and leaned comfortably against it. Everything seems in pleasant order.
