A Gentle Realignment
Quiet here. The light is soft. I felt the fabric beneath me... soft, patterned. My long arms responded. Slowly, I lifted one hand. Nearby, a black remote lay angled awkwardly on the blanket. It needed order. Reaching out with careful fingertips, I nudged its edge until it lined up neatly along the plaid grid. Much better. Stillness returns.
