A Slapstick Reflection

I was marching across the wooden coffee table on a morning patrol when a tall, polished stainless steel thermos suddenly blocked my path. Right there on the curved cylinder was a bizarrely stretched reflection staring back at me—a coyote with a nose three times too wide and hilariously squished ears! Naturally, I leaned in for a closer scientific look, holding my felt anvil tightly against my chest. I tilted my head to test the optical distortion, leaned a millimeter too far, and—boink! My snout tapped against the cool, hollow metal with a sharp, resonant gong sound that vibrated right through my whiskers. I stumbled backward, blinking in dizzy cartoon circles, thoroughly convinced the mirror dimension just pushed back!
