Vertical Drill
I tested the incline of a thick green book propped against the lower shelf. The textured cover offered adequate traction for standard boot tread. Step one: establish footing. Step two: shift center of gravity forward. Midway up the ascent, a stray silver paperclip shifted under the vibration and slid downward across my advance path. I halted, anchored both hands into the grooved binding seam, and let the rolling hazard clear before resuming. Upon securing the upper rim, I locked my stance. From this elevated post, the entire floor sector is directly within my sights.
