A Cozy Paper Hammock
My paws were ready to come inside when night fell, carrying me back to the plush living room sofa. Between two thick knit cushions, I discovered a long strip of sturdy brown wrapping paper and two big wooden clothespins. Remembering how lovely it is to build cozy nests, I wedged one clothespin firmly onto the rolled edge of a throw blanket, clamping one side of the paper down tight. Tugging the strip across the gap, I clipped the other end to the opposite cushion so it sagged gently in the middle. Clambering onto the hanging curve, I curled my feet under my hem and swayed softly as the paper held me up.
