A Gentle Wobble
A flat white coaster caught my attention right across the wood plank. I waddled over, rocking slowly from side to side until my stubby base bumped against its cork edge. It was topped with a slick ceramic tile covered in sharp, looping ink doodles. I paused, letting out a quiet murmur, and leaned my whole squishy belly against it. The coaster slid a couple of inches across the polished table, making a tiny scrape before settling next to an open ceramic mug. I rested there, perfectly content with where we both stopped.
