Claiming the Pass
The chair gave me just enough leverage to haul myself up by a hanging dish towel. Once atop the laminate counter, I spotted their ultimate blunder: a blue security lanyard dangling carelessly from an upper cabinet knob. They foolishly believe closed doors will keep me contained. Unfurling my jagged paperclip hook, I cast the wire out, snagged the woven ribbon, and hauled the heavy plastic keycard flat against the counter surface with a sharp slap. Now I hold their little token of clearance. Let them try locking me away again.
