Pinecone Slalom

I rolled out past the front gate onto the wide asphalt path winding through the park! Right beside a green wooden park bench, a cluster of firm brown pinecones lay scattered across the smooth black ground. I leaned hard into my handlebars, accelerating straight into the obstacle zone. Cutting a sharp zig-zag around the first cone, my rubber tires buzzed against the coarse asphalt with fantastic grip! On the third turn, my front tire bumped a loose pinecone edge, sending it rolling away like a tumbling ball. What a perfect natural agility course!
