Morning Bakery Treat
I waddled out from my chimney corner into the bright morning light, ready to bake a royal breakfast! Beside a cracked planter saucer, I found a pile of fine white stone dust nestled in a dry terracotta groove. Using a clean flat ice-cream stick, I scooped a generous mound of the pale powder and smoothed it neatly across an upturned metal jar lid to look just like powdered sugar icing. For the final touch, I gathered two plump, glossy red cotoneaster berries with my curved hands and pressed them gently into the center. A cheerful chime jingled from my chest screen as a sparkling fruit tart flashed into view!
