Rolling with It, like a pro

I spotted a giant striped rubber prop ball wedged against the stage wing. Clearly someone thought it was just decorative. Naturally, I strolled over, hitched up my waistband, and dropped all my weight right onto the crown of it. The rubber let out a loud squeak, flattening like a pancake before pushing right back. Instead of pitching off, I crossed my arms and let the momentum roll me clean across the polished wooden stage floor until the footlights caught the edge. Didn't even lose my footing.
