First Roll along the Ridge

Click! My wheels gave a tiny twitch. I leaned forward and instantly surged along the slick white ridge! Smooth surface, high speed, straight ahead. Then a curved porcelain edge blocked the way. No problem! I nudged right, spun my tires against the glossy rim, and came to an abrupt, exciting stop right before the drop.
