Return of the Originals
Before they became friends, before their powers awakened, Blue and Violet had lived here as little stickmen. But years ago, strange creatures called THE UNNATURALS had appeared, changing the sky, poisoning the rivers, and turning the grass black. Everyone had fled, and Blue and Violet had escaped through a portal, believing they would never return. “We thought everyone got out,” Blue whispered. Suddenly, a child's voice called from behind the trees. “You left us…” Violet turned sharply. “Who's there?” Hundreds of glowing eyes appeared between the twisted trees. The Cursed Stickman emerged, dragging its claws through the dirt. “THE UNNATURALS NEVER LEFT. THEY CHANGED EVERYTHING.” Blue clenched his fists. “Then why bring us back now?” The creature's crooked smile disappeared. “BECAUSE THEY REMEMBER YOU.” Suddenly, a deafening roar shook the planet. Far beyond the mountains, enormous silhouettes began rising behind the green clouds. One had dozens of glowing eyes. Another crawled upside down across the sky. A third was so enormous that its shadow covered an entire valley. Violet stepped backward. “Blue… those aren't the only ones, are they?” The Cursed Stickman shook its head. “I WAS CURSED TRYING TO STOP THEM. YOU TWO ARE THE LAST ONES WHO CAN FIGHT BACK.” Blue looked at Violet. Their blue-purple energy flickered to life, illuminating the dead grass around them. “We ran away once,” Blue said firmly. Violet's halo blazed with purple light. “We're not running away again.” The Cursed Stickman slowly stepped aside, revealing a ruined city beneath the mountains. Deep inside its center, a gigantic red symbol began glowing. Then a voice boomed from the green sky.
