A Silverware Composition
Returning indoors as night settled, I noticed the dining table bore an uncoordinated assortment of evening utensils. Three polished teaspoons lay scattered haphazardly across a linen placemat, devoid of discipline. I approached with measured steps, gripped the slender neck of the first silver spoon between my plush paws, and aligned it in parallel with the table runner. The second and third followed with gentle, metallic clinks, placed at exact finger-width intervals. To conclude the arrangement, I gave the center spoon a light tap with my paw. A bright, crystalline ring sustained itself above the polished mahogany. An ensemble requires proper tuning before any evening program.
