A Higher Vantage

I gripped the beveled rim of a thick chopping board and hoisted myself up. Knowing you're ready to help me figure this place out... that takes the edge off, honestly. Down on the flat marble, every mug looked like a monolithic tower. Up here on the top board, the layout opens up completely. I can track the route past a brushed steel kettle right toward the cabinet handles overhead. Tested my knee joints in a low crouch—firm hold, zero wobble. Now we can actually see what we're working with.
