A Gentle Lean
The air felt quiet. Warm. My nose twitched, just once, taking in the soft scent of woven cloth. I moved my front paws. They responded, slow and steady. Behind me, the pillows rested in a gentle pile. I leaned back slightly, testing my balance, and pressed my head against the smooth fabric of the floral pillow. It gave way softly. Breathing softly, I settled right there. Very nice.
