A Clean Circuit “YOU NEED A GOOD GROUND!!”
Morning vibration rattled the junction box door, breaking my rest. The copper line was receiving, but the connection lacked a clean ground return. Leaving cover, I dropped to the gravel base of the pole. A discarded zinc roofing nail lay pinned in packed dirt near my boot. I loosened it using the cross-guard of my saber, clearing the grit until raw grey metal showed. Bracing my shoulder against the timber, I hammered the zinc spike two inches into the damp earth below the frost line, then wound the bare tail of the copper antenna lead three times around its flat head. The erratic hum went flat and pure. Ground confirmed.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😎
