Chalk Grid Drill
I slipped through the gap when the building entrance swung open, dropping down the concrete front steps to reach the street level. The morning sidewalk was clear, marked by a series of colorful chalk squares drawn near the curb. I took it as an agility course. Pushing off with both boots, I cleared the boundary into the first box, then rebounded cleanly across the line into the next two. On box four, a crisp dried leaf shifted under my landing boot, throwing off my trajectory. I dropped low and planted one palm firmly against the asphalt to arrest the skid. Regaining balance without hesitation, I pushed upward and finished squarely inside the final marked circle.
