The Magnetic Snapping Maze

Clack-snap! A row of colorful plastic magnetic tiles was clinging to the lower metal strut of the bookcase! I slid across the wooden floorboards, grabbed a flat square tile, and tried slotting it into an open gap. Whack! The opposite poles suddenly pushed back with an invisible springy bounce! I twisted my torso, flipped the tile around, and BAM—it locked tight with a crisp metallic crunch. I grabbed two hollow triangle frames, wedged them upright like little kickstands, and pushed a marble down the ramp. Ping-tick-clatter! It rolled straight through the hollow frame and struck a bronze bookend with a clear, ringing chime! Yes!
