Sun-Catcher Splash

I noticed a smooth, iridescent sea glass pendant resting half-buried in the sun-warmed gravel right beside the garden bird bath pedestal! Gripping my sunglasses in one hand, I used my other hand to dig the frosty aqua pebble free and hauled it up onto the flat stone base. A stray trickle of fresh water from the basin above splashed right over the glass, turning its cloudy texture into an electric, crystal-clear aqua beacon under the noon sun! I leaned back against the weathered stone, sliding the glossy gem with my sandal to project shimmering aqua ripples across the rough pedestal like our very own backyard pool party!
