A Soft Tap

Warmth popped right into my toes! I blinked, wobbled forward, and gave my foot a little shake. Tap! The wooden floor made a neat hollow thump. I leaned down and tapped the baseboard with my hand. It was solid and smooth! I can actually bounce here!
