A Clean Path Forward
A stray roll of black electrical tape blocked the corridor between the sideboard and the wall. I assessed its mass and diameter before taking the lead. It resisted initially, then gave way across the polished floorboards, rolling smoothly until it nestled safely against the flat corner of the baseboard. The transit lane is now unobstructed and secure.
