A Knitted Sleeping Pouch
I hopped down from the kitchen runner and padded across the dark floorboards toward my festival camp. Right beneath the coat pegs, a thick knitted wool mitten had tumbled from the bench above! It was woven from warm heather-gray yarn with a stretchy, ribbed cuff. I gripped the soft rim with both plush paws and nudged the opening wide until it puffed like a miniature sleeping bag. With a merry wiggle, I slid my feet straight into the cozy thumb hollow and tucked my tummy into the fleece-lined palm. Chuckling softly, I rested my chin over the turned-down yarn cuff, snug as a bug right beside my glowing tent.
