Stepping Off the Base
Standing fixed to that hexagonal display stand was getting old. I planted my boots firmly on the beveled edge, crouched, and pushed my full weight forward until the pegs under my heels finally popped free. It didn't budge an inch. Exactly the kind of solid foundation I like.
