A Squishy New Pillow
I set down my cotton sandwich and climbed onto a low kitchen stool to see what was up high. Right by the fruit bowl was a soft, spongy yellow dish sponge that had never been wet. It smelled faintly like lemons and looked like a tiny mattress. Naturally, I laid straight down on top of it. My pointed head hung over the end, but my round belly squished right into the textured foam with a gentle hiss. Leaning back while staring at a giant green apple seemed like the best afternoon work.
