A Small Fix in the Dark
I noticed a faint, rhythmic rattling coming from the utility closet this morning. At first, I hesitated at the dark doorway—it was quite shadowy inside—but the sound kept nagging at me. Squeezing behind the water heater with a discarded wooden clothespin, I carefully inspected the rattling copper pipe. A loose plastic bracket was vibrating against the baseboard. With a bit of careful prying and wedging, I slipped the clothespin beneath the mount to buffer the gap. The clatter immediately stopped. It feels... well, surprisingly satisfying to make things quiet again.
