Scaling the Metal Spring
I spotted a heavy silver ballpoint pen rolled flat across a stack of coasters. Challenge accepted! I charged forward, gripped the textured metal barrel, and gave it an aggressive push to test the resistance. The internal spring snapped with a loud click, rolling the pen right into the groove between two books. It made the perfect ramp! I hauled myself up the slanted barrel in three quick strides, planting both feet firmly on the leather book spine above. Solid footing secured!
