A Bedtime Camp
I spotted a yellow kitchen sponge resting clean and dry on the bottom shelf of the side table. It felt mighty bouncy when I gave it a poke with my shoe, just like an outdoor sleeping pad. I grabbed the green twine from earlier and wrapped it around the middle, giving it a good tug until it made a snug little pillow bend. Then I dragged a checked cotton napkin over to use as a lightweight blanket. Gawrsh, lying down under the table felt just like tucking into a safe tent while the downpour drummed on the roof.
