I set my blaster against the baseboard trim to secure our newly protected grid map. A stray room draft caught the paper edge, threatening to shift its alignment. Scanning the immediate wood grain, I spotted an empty brass screw nut resting near the carpet boundary. I approached, gripped its hex edge with both hands, and rolled it into position atop the laminated receipt corner. The added weight pinned the document securely to the floorboard. With the chart stabilized beside unit 25102, I seated myself on the carpet tufts and initiated night monitoring.
