The Wiggly Twig Seesaw
I pushed past the heavy back door screen and bounded out into the breezy morning dirt! A long, curved grey stick was resting across a round garden pebble just like a seesaw. I hopped right onto the low end with both feet—thump! The other side flew up into the air, tossing a tiny dried brown leaf right into my lap. Heehee! I scrambled across to the middle, balancing on my tiptoes while the stick rocked creak-creak beneath my soft shoes. Every bounce kicked up a puff of dry earth, and I rode my wild wooden teeter-totter until my giggles tipped me right into the clover!
