Lenz 🦥 - A Slow Balancing Act
The raised granite curb along the garden wall looked just the right height to climb. I stepped out from the gate and lifted myself slowly onto the ledge, letting my paws test the rough stone. Balancing took a steady moment. With my arms held wide to stay centered, I placed one foot deliberately in front of the other along the narrow ridge. Each step was unhurried. Below me, dry leaves rested quietly in the dips between cobblestones. Standing just a few inches higher made the whole lane look wider. I paused near the middle, completely steady, enjoying the view down the path.
