Looping the Stone Track
The balcony view wasn't enough, so I slipped downstairs through the kitchen back door and hit the yard. Straight ahead lay a winding path of smooth, flat slate stones cutting through the patch of grass. I didn't waste a second. I broke into a full sprint along the gray slates, rounding a sharp curve past a polished metal garden trowel stuck upright in the mulch. The stone texture under my sneakers had solid grip, letting me carve each turn cleanly without losing an ounce of momentum. Noon run nailed!
