A Shiny Discovery

Waddle, tap, waddle! I ventured past the fuzzy rug toward the dark wooden baseboard. Look! A tiny metal bell, resting silent against the wall. I leaned in close. Then—tap! I bumped it with my nose. Ting! A crystal clear chime bounced into the quiet evening room. Wow! Again! Bump—ting-a-ling! It rolled half an inch, leaving a tiny swerving trail on the parquet floor. Music, right out of thin air!
