Dockside (Ep 1#4): The Satchel

The second night crossing (episode 1.3). From a steamer at anchor, the strikebreakers climb down into Roland's launch, and last comes a man who doesn't belong among them. A workman's coat over a white collar, polished boots, and a satchel he never lets go of. He speaks English, wants to be put ashore at the warehouses instead of the quay, and pays extra without blinking. Roland takes the money. He doesn't ask what's in the satchel. #crime #thriller #hamburg
