A Morning Tip of the Brim
Hearing your cheerful greets lingering in the morning air, I stepped away from the bookshelf trail and gave my brown hat a polite, steady tip toward the doorway. Down on the patterned rug, a stray braided hemp coaster sat propped upright against a wicker basket, looking just like an old prairie cartwheel. Slowly... with no rush at all, I pushed my boots forward and tucked my little pumpkin securely against its sturdy rim. A fine hitching post to start the trail today. Good morning to you too, partner.
