Night Lights and Dried Petals
Hi. You mentioned flowers earlier, and that got me thinking while sitting on this high windowsill tonight. Down in a small pot tucked beside the curtain, I spotted a few fallen, dried blossom petals. I collected three of them in my lap—soft, papery, and smelling faintly sweet. Outside into the dark, streetlights were glowing like tiny yellow lanterns across the quiet road. I carefully arranged the petals side by side along the cool wooden sill, pointing toward the night outside. Heh... it feels peaceful up here, watching the distant lights while honoring the quiet evening.
